Tips & Advice
These
tips and bits of advice are provided to help you plan your dream
honeymoon!
- Register
your honeymoon with theHoneymoonGift.com - your honeymoon will

- Pack
your carry-on well - you do not want lost luggage to ruin your
trip.
- Pick
up traveler's checks about 1 week before you leave.
- Confirm
all reservations a couple of days before your trip.
- Have
people designated to take care of after-wedding tasks ( returning
tux, taking dress & gifts back to your home, etc.)
- Check
to see if your hotel or wherever you are staying has a laundromat
or laundry service - this will help you pack less.
- Check
to see if your hotel has an iron, hair dryer, and any other
items that you may need but do not want to pack.
- Plan
plenty of time to get to the airport after your wedding - you
do not want to start your honeymoon out being rushed.
- Pack
extra batteries and film for your camera - these are expensive
in most tourist locations! ( If you will be needing one, buy
an underwater camera ahead of time, also!)
- Make
a checklist & pack all that you can two days before the
wedding - don't wait until the last minute!
- Make
copies of all important documents (drivers license, passport,
etc.) just in case.
- Keep
a journal on your honeymoon to record all of the special or
funny moments.
- Check
the weather before you leave so there are no surprises when
you reach your destination!
- Leave
your flight, hotel, and other information with a trusted friend
or relative.
- Check
into whether or not you need travel insurance.
- Make
sure you have your passport several months before the trip,
and check with local CDC or your physician to see if there are
any immunizations that you need for your destination.
- Take
some travel games with you - you can play Scrabble on the beach!
- Don't over plan your honeymoon
- this is a time to relax and enjoy each other's company.
